UF Argentine Tango Weekend with Ciko

Mark your calendars for October 25-27th and plan to join us in Gainesville.

We are so excited to welcome Ciko from NYC for a weekend of excellent workshops! We also will have the fun musical genius Mariano Bejarano DJing the Friday night Milonga.

Fridy October 25

UF WORKSHOP
Topic: Strengthening for Tango: Grounding and Embrace
Time: 6:15 pm - 7:45 pm
Location: UF Reitz Union Dance Studio B

UF TANGO NIGHT MILONGA
Time: 8:30 pm to midnight+
DJ: Mariano from Miami
Location: Rena's Ballroom, 720 NW 23 Ave, Gainesville
Food: Snacks will be provided by the Argentine Tango Club.
Cost: Free for UF students, For all others suggested donation of $10

Saturday October 26

WORKSHOP 1: Ciko, Alper, and Trista
Topic: Close embrace twisty turns with entradas. Moving through your partner vs around your partner.
Time: 2 pm - 3:30 pm

Topic: Periods vs commas in movement: creating clear sentences.

Topic: Turkish delight : secrets to a yummy and gummy embrace

Three Workshops: $60 for public, $45 for students

Later Gator (after October 11)
One Workshop: $25 for public, $20 for students
Two Workshops: $50 for public, $40 for students
Three Workshops: $70 for public, $55 for students

*UF Workshop on Friday is FREE and OPEN for UF students and for those who sign up for any of the other three workshops.
